101 Scholarship Open For Applications Feb. 15 – Apr. 15

Class 101, a national leader in college planning, announces the launch of its annual 101 Scholarship. This is the sixth year of the program which has helped students around the country make college more affordable for their families. High school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are active in their community, demonstrate leadership, and have academic achievement are encouraged to apply by April 15th, 2024.

This spring, four students nationwide will be chosen to win $3,000. The scholarship is based on making a difference in the community (60%), demonstrating leadership (30%) and on achievement in academics (10%). Students will submit either a short essay (500-word-maximum) or a two-minute video as part of the application. Students are encouraged to view the scholarship criteria at Class101.com/101scholar and submit the requirements through the website by April 15, 2024.

For more than 26 years, Class 101 has guided high school students to achieve their college goals. The company’s 60 locations across the country, including Class 101 Franklin and Class 101 Nashville, provide services including top-quality ACT/SAT prep, college list development, essay workshops, and scholarship counseling. The 101 Scholar program shows Class 101’s continued commitment to help students.

“We have been part of the middle Tennessee community for nearly a decade and are so proud to be give back by offering this scholarship,” says Karen Feamster, owner of Class 101 Franklin and Class 101 Nashville. “This scholarship is not only for the families we work with on college planning and test preparation—it’s for any student who is making a difference in their community and who wants to make college more affordable for their family and future. We want to help every student be able to pursue their dreams.”
