DESCRIPTION:About the Event\nJoin us for the 2nd Annual Live Like Jack 5K & 1-Mile Kids Run—a fun-filled evening for the whole family! \nAfter the race\, stick around for pizza\, a dance party\, snow cones\, and balloon character twisting. Whether you’re running\, walking\, or cheering\, there’s something for everyone. \n Our Story\nOur son Jack was born with bilateral clubfoot and arthrogryposis\, requiring ongoing treatment and travel for care. In one year alone\, we made six trips to Florida for his treatment. While we are fortunate to provide for him\, we recognize that many families cannot. Live Like Jack was created to help change that. \nWhen Jack was a baby\, a doctor told us he would “never be normal.” \nWe believe that different is something to celebrate—and that every child deserves the opportunity to move\, play\, and live actively. \n Our Mission\nLive Like Jack supports children born with clubfoot\, limb differences\, and musculoskeletal conditions by helping families access essential medical care\, travel\, adaptive equipment\, and accessible activity for all. \n \n2026 Schedule of Events\n\n\nFriday August 7\n———————————————-\n3:00-6:00 pm: Packet pickup and Late Registration\nLocation: Curio Brewing (Come hang out and chat with us!)\nIf picking up someone else’s race packet\, you must show a copy of their registration. \nSaturday August 8\n——————————————— \n5:15-5:45: Packet pickup @ race site (239 Franklin Rd)\n6:00 pm- Kids Dash begins\n6:30 pm: 5k race begins\n7:00 pm – Finish line party with DJ Joe & Friends\n7:30 pm – Awards \n\nLearn more at the link below!
