TIME TO REGISTER FOR YOUTH BASKETBALL, FALL COED SOCCER, AND ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUES
The Athletics Division of Williamson County Parks and Recreation is now registering for Youth Basketball, Fall Coed Soccer (Brentwood), Fall Coed Soccer (Franklin), and Adult Basketball Leagues.
Franklin – Hillsboro Youth Basketball
Registration is now open for the Franklin and Hillsboro Youth Basketball Leagues. Participants will have the opportunity to experience all-county play while improving skills, sportsmanship and building relationships with players in other communities. Players are required to be 5 to 17 years old as of August 31, 2019, and must provide a copy of their birth certificate.
All registration is online at www.wcparksandrec.com and concludes October 14. The player fee of $100 (includes uniform) is payable upon registration.
Mandatory drafts will be held on October 21 and 22 for Franklin and October 24 for Hillsboro. Practices will begin the weekend of November 2. Games will be played on Saturdays starting December 7 through February 15. To conclude the season, a tournament will be held in mid-February. Home games will be played at Academy Park, Franklin Recreation Complex, Winstead Elementary, Pearre Creek Elementary, and the Hillsboro/Leiper’s Fork Recreation Center. Away games will be at various locations throughout Williamson County.
Help is also needed in the areas of head coaches, assistant coaches, officials and supervisors. Fall Coed Soccer – Brentwood, Indoor Arena at Crockett Park
Registration is underway for the Fall Coed Indoor Soccer League at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Parkway in Brentwood.
League play will be on Wednesday nights, September 25 – December 11. The team registration fee is $465. A maximum of 10 teams will be accepted. Fall Coed Soccer Session II – Franklin
Priority registration (returning teams) is now open for the Fall Coed Indoor Soccer II League in Franklin. Registration will open on September 11 for new participants.
League play will be on Wednesday evenings, September 25 – November 6 at the Robert A. Ring Indoor Soccer Arena, 1876 Downs Blvd., Franklin. The team registration fee is $400. Fall Adult Basketball – Franklin
Registration is underway for Fall Adult 35+ and D2 Basketball Leagues in Franklin. League play will be on Tuesday (D2) and Thursday (35+) evenings at 6:00 p.m. at the Academy Park Gym, 120 Everbright Ave. in Franklin. The season will begin mid/late October. Leagues will play eight games (round robin format) followed by a single elimination tournament. Don’t have a team? Register as a Free Agent and a team will be formed from individual registrants.
