Nashville, Tenn.-based c-store chain to partner with Nashville Zoo for special events throughout the summer and fall seasons

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (MAY 30, 2023)—Local convenience store chain Twice Daily is partnering with Nashville Zoo at Grassmere to host special community events throughout the 2023 season. The partnership began with the popular Sips for Species event featuring drink samples, local food trucks and close-up encounters with the animals. With a passion for providing a high-quality experience for guests, the two local companies have more special events in store throughout the summer and fall seasons.

“Each event we host at Nashville Zoo is a way to bring the community together, and we are thrilled to have Twice Daily be a partner in that,” said Amy Hughey, director of strategic partnerships with Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

Twice Daily is partnering with Nashville Zoo to host popular events including:

  • Brew at the Zoo: Join us on Friday, June 2 for live music, over 80 craft beer varieties and the chance to explore the zoo’s popular DinoTrek with more than 20 life-sized, animatronic dinosaurs. Presented by Middle Tennessee Honda Dealers and in partnership with Tri Star Energy—Twice Daily’s parent company—attendees will enjoy this after-hours experience.
  • Hispanic Heritage Festival: Scheduled for Saturday, September 30, the Hispanic Heritage Festival will include folk dance performances, live music, special themed concessions and bilingual options for Grassmere Historic Home tours, animal shows and encounters.
  • Booze at the Zoo: Booze at the Zoo will take place beginning Thursday, October 12, and will kick off the spooky season with unlimited booze samples, costumes, trick-or-treating, live music and plenty of party animals.

“We are excited to partner with another local company like Nashville Zoo to provide fun for the whole family this year,” said Eric Rush, director of marketing for Twice Daily’s parent company, Tri Star Energy. “Supporting like-minded Tennessee brands and bringing a memorable experience to guests is always a top priority, whether at our stores or with our community partners.”
