If ever there was a time to live fast and eat ice cream for breakfast, it’s month 24 of the pandemic, and coincidentally there’s a national food holiday for such a thing: Saturday, Feb. 5, is National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, and local craft ice cream brand Hattie Jane’s Creamery is making is easier with a newly released Ice Cream for Breakfast series and 10% off to pajama-wearing ice cream lovers.

Along with the Ice Cream for Breakfast Pajama Party, Hattie Jane’s is kicking off February with another round of Giveback Days benefiting community-minded partners, as well as a special After-School Valentine’s Day Ice Cream Social with The Nashville Mom.

That’s why this February, the local creamery and scoop shop is bringing back Community Giveback Days to support amazing organizations giving back to their communities. Each Wednesday in February, visit any of the four Hattie Jane’s locations in Columbia, Franklin, Murfreesboro and Nashville (located in the downtown Assembly Food Hall) and 20 percent of your purchase will benefit the following Hattie Jane’s partners: 

National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day Pajama Party (Feb. 5) 

Saturday, Feb. 5, marks National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, and Hattie Jane’s is celebrating with a Pajama Party! Visit the Columbia, Franklin and Murfreesboro locations between 9 a.m. and noon in your favorite PJs and receive 10 percent off your purchase. The Columbia, Franklin and Murfreesboro scoop shops will be serving flavors from Hattie Jane’s new breakfast series, including Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll, Pancakes & Blueberry Maple Syrup, Biscuits & Sorghum, Mimosa Sorbet and Mulekick Coffee, along with hot coffee, milkshakes, baked treats and other Hattie Jane’s specialty flavors. 

After-School Valentine’s Day Ice Cream Social with The Nashville Mom (Feb. 14) 

Join Dawn Burns, author of This is Nashville and the face of the popular family-friendly blog “The Nashville Mom,” at Hattie Jane’s Franklin for an After-School Valentine’s Day Ice Cream Social on Monday, Feb. 14 from 4 – 6 p.m. 

Swing by for sweet treats with your sweethearts including a special Valentine’s Day milkshake, giveaways, a photobooth and to socialize with Dawn during this fun, family-friendly event. Hattie Jane’s will be scooping the newest flavor series, “Breakfast for Ice Cream,” with limited-time flavors including Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll, Pancakes & Blueberry Maple Syrup, Mimosa Sorbet and Salt & Pepper Biscuits with Sorghum, as well as other Hattie Jane’s specialty flavors, milkshakes and baked goods. Dawn will also have copies of her recently release children’s book This is Nashville available for purchase.
