NATURE PROGRAMS AT TIMBERLAND PARK

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) has a variety of nature programs planned at Timberland Park in Franklin. All programs are open to the public, and the majority are free of charge. Program participation is limited, and pre-registration is required.

  • Friday, July 23 – 7:30 p.m. – Night Hike – Registration Code: 20957
  • Friday, July 30 – 3:00 p.m. – 10 Essentials & Paracord Keychain – Registration Code: 20995
    * Cost – $2.00 per participant.
  • Sunday, August 1 – 9:00 a.m. – 2 Mile Guided Hike – Registration Code: 21362
  • Saturday, August 7 – 9:00 a.m. – Butterfly Hike – Registration Code: 21363
  • Saturday, August 14 – 9:00 a.m. – 1.5 Mile Guided Hike – Registration Code: 21364
  • Thursday, August 19 – 7:30 p.m. – Night Hike – Registration Code: 21365
  • Saturday, August 21 – 9:00 a.m. – Wildlife Hike – Registration Code: 21366
  • Friday, August 27 – 4:00 p.m. – Birdhouse Build – Registration Code: 21367
    * Cost – $10.00 per participant. For ages 10-14
